Tree Of Savior's Big Brawl Update Adds PvP Modes, Four Events
Tree of Savior's homepage has been updated to redirect users to an event page announcing the release of the Big Brawl Update on July 26th. The update will introduce the long-awaited Guild Battles, the Team Battle League, new items, and four new events.
Guild Battles are instanced cross-server battles between two guilds. Each guild is randomly assigned one of eight "headquarters" locations on the Guild Battle map. They are then required to take down the other guild's tower, which is located in their headquarters, before the other guild takes theirs down or time runs out. Guild Battles will be available to take part in twice a day and participating guilds will be assigned a rank "based on ELO rules."
The Team Battle League is a new instanced PvP mode that allows players to take part in either 2v2 or 5v5 matches, although only 5v5 matches are ranked. The winning team is decided based on a "best of three" format. Participating will net players Battle Points, which can be spent on EXP cards and the like, but you are required to be at least Rank 5 to participate. The Team Battle League is open four times a day—4 AM, 12 PM, 7 PM, and 10 PM EDT/EST—for an hour at a time. The ladder is reset "every Monday at midnight (EDT)." Unlike Guild Battles, the Team Battle League is not cross-region.
Four new events are beginning with the launch of the update, each of which runs from July 26th to August 16th. The Top Guild Battle event will reward the top 3 guilds in the Guild Battle rankings. The Survival and Victory event will reward players for achieving 15 wins in the Team Battle League each week or for being "the top ranked player for each base class" on a per-region basis. The King of the Tower event is increasing drop rates, EXP gain, and completion rewards for the Earth Tower. The Daily Mystery Delivery event gives players a choice of completing a daily quest or opening a mystery box once per day in order to receive various rewards.
