If you’ve yet to take the plunge into the dark, blood-soaked world of V Rising, it’s time to sharpen your fangs because Stunlock Studios has a treat for you! The vampire-themed multiplayer survival game will be hosting a free-to-play weekend starting on September 12th at 10 a.m. PDT and running through September 16th.

For five full days, you’ll be able to explore the gothic world of Vardoran, construct your vampire lair, and battle ancient enemies—all without opening your wallet.

If you’re unfamiliar with V Rising, it’s an action-packed vampire survival RPG that has already sunk its teeth into 4.7 million players. You awaken as a newly resurrected vampire, hungry for blood, power, and castle real estate. Building a towering castle is just the beginning. You’ll explore an open world brimming with danger and dark fantasy lore, hunting enemies (and other players) while collecting resources to expand your influence.

Whether you’re dominating in PvE or raiding rival castles in PvP, there’s plenty to sink your teeth into. Stunlock Studios promises you’ll get the full experience during this promotion, including all the content from their recent 1.0 update.

While five days might not be enough to craft a sprawling vampire fortress and confront the legendary Dracula, it should be enough to give you a good feel for the game. If you do get hooked, V Rising will be on sale for 30% off on Steam, with all DLC discounted by 20%—including the Legacy of Castlevania pack, until September 24th.
