Valheim Teases New Hairstyles, Wardrobe, And A New Dungeon Coming In Mistlands

Iron Gate’s smash hit Norse-themed survival MMORPG Valheim isn’t particularly known for having top-notch visuals with the developers foregoing sparkly eye candy in favor of the ruggedness of hard-angled polygons. In the end, it’s a style choice that doesn’t really detract from the core gameplay mechanics that propelled it to super stardom when it launched early last year.

Speaking of style choices, Iron Gate has rolled out another Mistlands teaser blog that shows off some of the new hairstyles and wardrobe options that players will be able to choose from when the long-awaited expansion arrives sometime this year.

Aside from new fab fashion choices, the studio also gave the community a peek at a new “creepy” dungeon and talked up work on a new boss, a new extractor item, and the new Black Core.

“We know many of you are looking forward to the Mistlands, and we are grateful for your continued patience,” the developers said. “Although we are not quite ready to set a date, we promise it is coming, and that we’re working hard to make sure it’ll be worth the wait!”
