Valheim Sells Over 3M Copies And Reaches 500K Peak Concurrency

valheim log house bannerValheim continues its meteoric rise to popularity on Steam as the recently-released Viking MMORPG sets another sales and all-time peak concurrency record. Last Sunday, the SteamCharts recorded an all-time peak concurrency of just over 498,000 players, while SteamDB logged an all-time peak of just over 502,000.

On top of that, the game has reportedly sold over 3 million copies in less than three weeks, which developer Iron Gate equates to “74,319 longhouses stuffed with Vikings singing songs and celebrating victory with some great tasting mead,” in keeping with the Old Norse references.

Valheim is now the 78th best reviewed game on Steam thanks to over 60,000 “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews and is currently the 7th most streamed game on Twitch, surpassing Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, and Rust.

“The Iron Gate team wanted to share one more big thank you to everyone who has already joined us on this exciting journey of mythological proportions,” says the studio.
