Versus: Battle Of The Gladiator Brings Brutal PvP Combat To Steam Early Access On June 20th
Those disappointed by Gladiators Online may find solace in the fact that a new online gladiatorial arena combat game called Versus: Battle of the Gladiator is hitting Steam Early Access on June 20th. The game's developer, the South Korean company Netker, promises "brutal and hardcore" non-targeting combat with seven different weapons available—"Onehanded, Dual Wield, Shielded, Hwando, Battleaxe, Greatsword, and Warhammer." Three different arenas—the Catacomb, the Colosseum, and the Excalibur—will be available at the beginning of Early Access The Catacomb and the Colosseum will be Team Deathmatch maps while the Excalibur will be a free-for-all Deathmatch map "with a twist."
When it launches on Early Access, Versus: Battle of the Gladiator will cost $19.99. Over the course of Early Access, Netker plans to add new items, maps, and skills regularly. The company also promises to take player feedback into account when deciding how to move forward with the game.
