Veteran Mass Effect And SWTOR Writer Working On BioWare’s Anthem
In a recent Twitter post, 14-year BioWare veteran writer Drew Karpyshyn confirmed that he is currently working on BioWare’s upcoming sci-fi coop shooter, Anthem.

The veteran writer is known for his role as the lead writer for Mass Effect 1 and 2, as well as for his work on Star Wars: The Old Republic. He has also worked on a number of BioWare games including Baldur’s Gate II, Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and Jade Empire. Apart from games, Karpyshyn has also penned novels based on the Star Wars, Baldur’s Gate, and Mass Effect universe.
Anthem was just revealed at E3 2017 earlier this week, which is probably why Karpyshyn is close-mouthed about the exact details. What we do know, however, is that the Anthem story is in perfectly capable hands.
The sci-fi shooter is slated for release in late 2018. We’ll keep you up to speed as more details about the game are released.
