War Thunder Is Coming To Xbox One

Gaijin Entertainment announced today that they're working on porting their popular military vehicle combat MMO War Thunder to the Xbox One. Unfortunately, there's no release date just yet but they did say the console and PC versions will feature cross-platform play. The game is currently available on the PlayStation 4 already as well as PC, Linux, and Mac.

“Our fans have been asking for War Thunder on Xbox One and we have been working toward bringing its crossplay experience to them. We are thrilled to announce that we have reached an agreement with Microsoft to bring War Thunder to Xbox One and Xbox One X,” said Anton Yudintsev, CEO, Gaijin Entertainment. “More than 20 million players have enjoyed War Thunder across multiple platforms and we cannot wait for Xbox One and Xbox One X owners to join the battle.”

War Thunder is the second most popular vehicle battle MMO out there after World of Tanks. The game averages a little over 10,500 players online at any given time on Steam alone. It boasts over 20 million players worldwide across all platforms.
