Warframe Reveals More Info About Upcoming Angels Of Zariman Expansion
Digital Extremes has dropped a boatload of new information on Warframe’s upcoming Angels of Zariman expansion and officially confirmed its release date. Angels of Zariman arrives on April 27th and will be a direct sequel and follow-up to last December’s The New War expansion.
As revealed last month, the expansion will introduce a new questline, new side objectives, a new Zariman NPC and Syndicate, and a new social hub called Chrysalith. Chrysalith will be the first-ever social hub that will allow players to embark on procedurally-generated missions without a single loading screen. Customizable apartments will also be available aboard the Zariman ship which players will be able to furnish and decorate to their hearts’ content.
Angels of Zariman will also add a new Warframe called Gyre. Like Vold, Gyre can channel the power of electricity to make quick work of her enemies but is equipped with a whole different skillset that focuses on crowd control and AoE damage.
“Annihilate enemies with the conductivity of coils and transmitters and build unstoppable momentum as the 49th Warframe, Gyre. Keep her energetic playstyle in check to control the flow of any Mission and have a chance to deal critical damage for each Electrical status that affects the enemy.”
Players will also gain access to three new mission types – Void Flood, Void Cascade, and Void Armageddon – the first of which is a parkour-based endless mission where players will need to collect Void Orbs to gain Void Energy that can be used to repair Void Fractures that appear throughout the mission.
“The longer that these Void Fractures are left open, the more debuffs you open yourself to. You can grab these Orbs from fallen enemies, or in clusters that spawn for those parkour-inclined. Sealing three fractures completes the wave and spawns a miniboss for you to defeat, after which the cycle continues in true endless mission fashion!”
