Warframe Reveals Veilbreaker Update And Its 50th Frame Alongside A New Trailer

Digital Extremes unveiled the next major update coming to Warframe called Veilbreaker in

new devstream yesterday. The update will arrive in September and will introduce new missions, new customizations, and a special new ‘Frame named Styanax that will mark the 50th ‘Frame to be added to the sci-fi multiplayer action game’s continually growing army of magical cyborg ninjas.

“Styanax is inspired by the heroic warriors of ancient myth, a paragon of justice and the Lotus’ deadly spear,” said Digital Extremes. The new ‘Frame will be available for free and can be claimed for a limited time following Veilbreaker’s release.

In addition to the new ‘Frame, Veilbreaker will also come with a new single-player quest where players will get to fight as the Grineer Lancer Khal-175, along with new weekly missions to rank up Khal and unlock customizations for the stalwart fighter. Players will also get access to new replayable Archon boss battles as well as new cosmetics called Voidshell Skins, Protea Caladrius Collection, and a new set of player-made skins.

Alongside the Veilbreaker announcement, Digital Extremes also released a new animated trailer starring Styanax, the first anime-styled Warframe trailer to be released by the studio. You can check that out right down below.
