Winning Putt Enters Open Beta

The latest in Bandai Namco's attempts to publish free-to-play games, Webzen OnNet's Winning Putt, has officially entered Open Beta. The game is a "more realistic" take on OnNet's previous game, Shot Online, but still features the ability to enhance clubs to hit farther, an ability that allows players to see the wind, and more. Players can choose between the Power and Accuracy classes and customize further from there. According to the press release, "customization is key in Winning Putt."

In addition to the above, guilds can be formed and hang out in a "special golfer's lounge." Players are said to have a large number of character customization options. At present, seven courses are available to be played.

I've been playing MMOs since back in the day when my only option was to play Clan Lord on the family Mac. Since then, I've played too many MMOs to count. I generally play niche, sometimes even bizarre, MMOs and I've probably logged the most hours in Linkrealms prior to its current iteration. Currently bouncing between a few games.
