If you’re still on the fence on whether you should buy World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, Blizzard is giving you time to check the new expansion out with a free trial. The free trial will include access to the Waking Shores where you can level your character up to level 63, the new Drachtyr Evoker hero class, and the Ruby Lifepools and Nokhud Offensive dungeons.

The trial period will run until January 2, 2023 which will give you something new to do over the holidays if you haven’t jumped into the expansion just yet. Note that you’ll need to have an active subscription to be eligible for the free trial.

Meanwhile, World of Warcraft’s new Trading Post feature is now up live on the public test realm if you want to give it a whirl. As we previously announced, the new feature offers players an alternative way to purchase cosmetic items using a new currency called Trader’s Tender which will be given out to subscribers on a monthly basis with the option to earn more by completing monthly quests.

Blizzard has currently set the stipend to 500 Trader’s Tender per month with the potential to earn 500 more but the actual amount could end up getting adjusted based on feedback from the feature test.

The latest PTR update also introduces several class balance changes, new common and poor item qualities for transmogrification, and a bunch of new NPCs for the Draenei, Orc, Tauren, Lightforged Draenei, and Highmountain Tauren mages, priests, and rogues.

You’ll find the latest PTR release notes here.
