The rumors about the World of Warcraft: Dragonflight pre-patch release date have turned out to be true as Blizzard confirms its release for October 25th, at least for the first half of it anyway. The pre-patch will be rolled out in two phases, with the first phase coming out on the said date with the new talent trees in tow, along with the ability to roll a Mage, Priest, or Rogue regardless of race, and the new HUD customization features.

The second phase will be rolling out on November 15th which will feature the new Drachtyr Evoker hero class and the revamped Uldaman dungeon. Phase 2 will also add primal storms that will cover various zones around Azeroth to set the stage for the expansion’s highly-awaited launch on November 28th.

In the meantime, players can take on the Headless Horseman once again as he returns to wreak havoc in Goldshire and Razor Hill as part of WoW’s annual Hallows End event. The event will run until November 1st, giving players another shot at obtaining his coveted mount by defeating him in the Scarlet Monastery.

Players can also go trick-or-treating to earn Tricky Treats that can be exchanged for Halloween-themed rewards. They can also make their way to Val’sharah to complete daily quests to earn Tricky Treats and a chance to obtain one of the four witch’s hats on offer. The full event details can be found on the World of Warcraft official site.
