World Of Warcraft’s Human Race Will Have A Passive Trait Removed In The War Within

Big changes are coming to World of Warcraft when The War Within expansion arrives later this year. The expansion will not only kick off a brand-new storyline, but it will also introduce new gameplay features to the long-running MMORPG which will unfortunately also require some unpopular changes to be made.

One of these changes is the removal of the Diplomacy trait for Humans which has been granting Human players a 10% boost to reputation gains from all factions since WoW first came out in 2014. The racial passive, however, will need to be removed in line with The War Within’s new Warband system which will make all reputation gains, levels, and rewards account-wide.

Obviously, the entire point of racial passive is to give each race distinct advantages over other races. Diplomacy, however, will grant Humans too much of an edge over other races once the new Warband feature is in place.

Since all other races will get to keep their respective traits, we can safely assume that Humans will be getting a new one in lieu of Diplomacy, although Blizzard has yet to reveal what it’s going to replace it with. Humans will also get to keep their Will to Survive and The Human Spirit racial traits.
