World of Warcraft is celebrating the arrival of spring with a good, old-fashioned egg hunt as the Noblegarden event returns to both the retail and classic versions of the long-running MMORPG.

Throughout the event, players will be able to obtain various rewards from Brightly Colored Eggs hidden in major cities, including this year’s new toy: an egg basket for your Dragon Isles drake.

“The great feast of Noblegarden has long been celebrated by the races of the Alliance and recently adopted by those of the Horde. During this joyous event, it is customary for the nobles and lords from each race to hide coins, candy, and the occasional treasures within special eggs painted to look like wildflowers. These eggs are then scattered around major cities for the citizenry to find.”

Players will also be able to earn Noblegarden Chocolates from the hidden eggs and by completing quests, which can then be used to purchase seasonal outfits, pets, mounts, and other special rewards from vendors.

Completing all eight Noblegarden Achievements will also grant players “the Noble” title and will count towards the “What a Long Strange Trip It’s Been” meta-achievement.

The event will run until April 15th on World of Warcraft Classic and until April 17th on the retail servers. Event details can be found on the World of Warcraft official site.
