World Of Warcraft Website Leaks Reveal Dragonflight As The Next Expansion
Dragons may be coming back to Azeroth based on new World of Warcraft leaks. Dataminers have reportedly uncovered a few details about the long-running MMORPG’s next expansion ahead of its big reveal later this month. Recently updated source code from the official site reportedly includes references to a landing page and pre-purchase packs for “Dragonflight.”
One Reddit user also added a bit more credibility to the leaks by citing a forum post on MMO Champion from two months ago with information about an expansion called Dragonflight. According to the post, the expansion will feature the five-headed dragon Chromatus as the big baddie and will introduce four new zones: Dragon Isles, Balor, and the full underground Undermine and Uldaz. Tirisfal Glades, The Plaguelands, Eversong Woods, and the Ghostlands will also be getting a revamp in the upcoming expansion.
Dragonflight is also rumored to include player housing, carpenter and logger professions, and four new micro classes: Dragon Knight, Tinker, Minstrel, and Chronomancer.
Blizzard Entertainment hasn’t confirmed the leaks but the studio does have a history of “accidentally” leaking information ahead of major update releases. Do with that what you will but we’ll all know soon enough during the official expansion reveal on April 19th.
