Zems Alpha Begins, Kickstarter Monday

Following a minor delay, Team Impulse sent out an email today stating that the alpha for their digital card game Zems began at midnight PST today. Invites should have gone out by now, but I have been informed that there are several groups of invites going out at different times so as not to overload the servers. If you signed up previously and have not received yours yet, it should be on its way soon.

Zems looks rather stunning, with impressive spell effects and a unique take on terrain modifiers. The example shown off most often is striking a pool of water with lighting to do area damage. It will be interesting to see what other unique tactics are in store for players in the alpha.

Given that the game is in alpha, a Kickstarter is set to start on Monday to help fund further development. We will be sure to update you as soon as it goes live.
