As promised, Ramen VR did have something special planned for the Winter Edition of the Upload VR Showcase and, as most of you probably already guessed, it’s the announcement of the official beta start date for Zenith.

The long-awaited beta kicks off on December 18th and will be available on Quest, PC VR, and PSVR headsets. The studio will be giving away thousands of beta keys in the days and weeks ahead so stay tuned.

Along with the beta announcement, the team also made the decision to push the game’s launch to early 2022.

“Truthfully, we pushed very hard to try to get the game out before the end of the year, but we think putting that extra level of polish and stability into Zenith is going to be critical for delivering the experience you all expect and deserve,” said Ramen VR CEO Andy Tsen. “I know this disappoints some of you, and I apologize for needing to delay the game a few months to early 2022, but I know it’s the right choice.”

There’s also a new trailer that shows off the game’s upgraded gliding and reworked combat systems. You can check that out below.
