Zenith’s highly-anticipated Skyward Summit update has finally arrived, and it’s being hailed as the VR MMORPG’s biggest patch to date. The update introduces hours of new early and endgame content, new gameplay systems, quality-of-life improvements, and a new class to top it all off.

“In the Skyward Summit patch, you will have the chance to explore the stunning Skyland area, an expansive new environment suspended high above the clouds,” announced developer Ramen VR. “This magnificent realm boasts breathtaking vistas, unique challenges to overcome, new enemies to face and hidden treasures to uncover. It has been crafted with the utmost attention to detail, and we are confident that you will enjoy your time adventuring in this brand new region.”

The Skyward Summit update also introduces the much-awaited Cyber Ninja class. These warriors are a force to be reckoned with, wielding a combination of melee and ranged combat skills and boasting impressive stealth abilities. They’re perfect for players who enjoy fast-paced, agile gameplay and are sure to add a whole new level of excitement to Zenith. Unfortunately, the subclasses for the Cyber Ninja have been delayed with no definite timeline for their release.

The update also brings with it a whole host of new gameplay systems including player housing, new life skills, new combat mechanics, and a PvP mode.

Zenith is playable with VR devices through Steam and Oculus, as well as the Sony’s newly-released PSVR 2. Unfortunately, the promised desktop version is still nowhere in sight with no word on when it will be released, so for now, VR is the way to go.
