MultiVersus is a free-to-play 2D platform brawler developed by Player First Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game features characters from various Warner Bros. Discovery subsidiaries, including Warner Bros., HBO, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, DC Comics, and Turner Entertainment.
The game was first announced in November 2021 and kicked off a Founder’s Early Access on July 19, 2022 a week before its open beta launch on July 26, 2022. The 2D brawler was an instant hit, logging over 150,000 concurrent players on Steam shortly after it launched.
