In a small corner of the internet over at Bless-Source, an Aeria Games representative updated the Bless community on the status of the game, briefly. The post is a follow-up to the September 13th status update that explained the Beta delays.

The post explains what the Bless team is currently working on: namely game performance to support large scale content and improve the persistent world's loading times.

But most important, combat is being tweaked quite a bit:

The combat system is also being improved. For instance, the aim targeting system is being worked on. The sensitivity of auto targeting will be adjusted and a lock-on feature will be added to provide a better combat experience. The combat-related UIs are also getting improvements with, for example, some subdivisions for damage and heal marks. Few other combat improvements are also scheduled and we will update you on the progress.

Otherwise there are a few quality of life improvements: "a better tutorial, more convenient chat UI and improvements to the world map."

It all sounds good.

I became somewhat worried when I learned Aeria Games' Bless website is down: "503 Service Unavailable." I thought for sure Aeria was abandoning the project but apparently not. Perhalps the site launch was premature?

There's still no announcement regarding a Beta test, but we'll know when it's ready.
