Amazon Outage Leads To ARK: Survival Evolved Server Rollbacks

The Amazon Web Services outage wreaked havoc on the internet last Wednesday. This included the CrossARK Transfer System used by ARK: Survival Evolved. The outage resulted in a dupe glitch that prompted Studio Wildcard to conduct a major rollback on all the official servers, and to wipe all Cross ARK storage of their items.

In a recent Reddit post, the studio apologized for the delayed response and assured players that they will be working on fail safe measures to prevent the event from happening again in the future. As compensation, the devs will be running a week-long Evolution Event with bonuses to experience, taming, and harvesting, along with a 50% increase to breeding, maturing, and hatching rates.
