Arcfall Is A New Old-School MMORPG That's Hitting Steam Early Access Soon

You may remember Arcfall developer Neojac Entertainment from one of its other projects that never came to fruition, Islands of War or Neo's Land. The developer of the Unity-based Atavism MMO Creator has yet to actually put out an MMORPG, despite having created an MMO engine and worked on several of them. It's looking to change that with the release of Arcfall.

Arcfall is an old-school MMORPG featuring crafting, exploring, fighting, skill-based character progression, a player-driven economy, and more. Upcoming features include ship building, sailing, and player owned islands. It is also said that the game "is a very social game." Between the feature set and the isometric 3D camera, if I had to guess, I'd say that it has taken quite a bit of inspiration from Ultima Online.

Arcfall is set to go live on Steam Early Access sometime soon. The original goal was for the game to go live today, but it seems to be stuck in what I am going to call "release queue hell," as one of the developers has stated that they are waiting on Steam to approve the final release, which they had previously thought would happen over the weekend. We'll be sure to let you know as soon as the game goes live.
