ArcheAge Unchained Officially Launches Today Alongside The Shadows Revealed Update

A few months ago, Gamigo revealed that they will be launching a new buy-to-play ArcheAge server called ArcheAge Unchained. After being delayed for two weeks, the new server will finally go live in North America later this afternoon. Unchained will run alongside the original server minus the controversial microtransactions that have been in place since the game launched back in 2014.

The new server launch will also coincide with the release of the Shadows Revealed update for both the ArcheAge and ArcheAge Unchained servers. The update will feature improved graphics and the newly-revised Elven race.

The Unchained server goes live at 10am PDT. Launch packs have replaced the Founders Packs on the official site and will set you back $25.99 for the Silver Pack, $49.99 for the Gold Pack, and $79.99 for the Archeum Pack which includes the Arasha Nomad Costume and the Golden Wyrmwings Glider Customization.
