ASTA Myth I Gets A New World Boss And Battleground Map On July 19th
WEBZEN announced today that ASTA Online is set to receive an extra dose of Myth I: Wrath of the Berserkers content on July 19th. The new content includes a world boss, a new battleground map, and a Hard Mode for raid dungeons.
The new world boss is described as follows.
Players from both factions will also face a new enemy, Usata. This giant world boss wanders in the western part of the Wado region. Not only is Usata a fearsome enemy, he is also extremely powerful. Dealing with this giant, and at the same time the opposing players, will definitely make his loot very valuable: Artifact and Unique grade armor pieces!
The new battleground is called Dreamworld. Battles on Dreamworld are broken into two rounds. The first round pits two teams against each other as they assault "a fortified place" in an attempt to seize it by "[conquering] the Sword of Prophecy." Once one team has conquered the Sword of Prophecy, the conquering team will be required to defend it in the second round.
The new Hard Mode in raid dungeons will give players a chance to face greater challenges in exchange for a chance at "stronger Artifact and Unique equipment, the Genuine weapons." According to WEBZEN, Genuine weapons "share a lot with the existing level 55 weapons you know and love, but they have better stats."
