Black Desert Online will be getting its first-ever co-op dungeon later this month as Pearl Abyss gears up for the release of the highly-awaited Atoraxxion dungeon on July 21. Atoraxxion is a massive level 57+ 5-man dungeon that’s divided into four distinct biomes and comes with its own quests and storyline along with a new set of challenging bosses and an army of new mobs.

“Stretching from the edges of a vast, desolate desert to the dark depths of the ocean, with magnificent canyons and dense forests within, the last stronghold of the Ancients lay undisturbed... until now,” read the original announcement post.

Meanwhile, the studio has just rolled out a patch for the PC version of the game that introduces several balance changes for the newly-released Corsair class and added the new Black Shadow field boss. The patch also applies a minimum damage requirement to obtain loot from several world bosses, namely: Nightmarish Kzarka, Bloodstorm Nouver, Stormbringer Karanda, and Thundercloud Kutum. Drop rates for Caphras Stones and Mass of Pure Magic have also been increased. The full patch notes can be found here.

Executive Producer Jae-Hee Kim has also posted a video to celebrate the game’s second year since it rolled out cross-play support between PC and consoles and console players hitting the 3 million mark. You can check that out right after the jump.
