Black Desert Online Is Back Online Under Pearl Abyss, Free-To-Grab Until March 10
Black Desert Online servers are back up and running following the game’s transition from Kakao Games to developer Pearl Abyss as its publisher. The data transfer, however, didn’t go as smoothly as Pearl Abyss would have hoped, with login issues and connection problems prompting the new publisher to extend the maintenance period into the wee hours of Friday morning.
The game is also back again on Steam and will be free there as well as on the official site until March 10. You can also use the coupon code “0225 WE ARE THE ONE” until the same date to claim a free the title Together As One, an Enhancement Help Kit II, a Black Spirit’s Special Dice Box and an Arcana Fate Box. Console users can also claim the aforementioned items except the Arcana Fate Box.
As compensation for the extended downtime, is giving everyone an item bundle containing a 3-day Blessing of Old Moon Pack, 3 Supreme Old Moon Scrolls, and 2 Heartfelt Gift Boxes. Players who transferred their accounts before the servers went back up should have already received the said items. New players and those who completed the transfer after the downtime will get theirs after the maintenance period next week.
