The New Woosa Class Soars Into Black Desert Online Alongside New Seasonal Servers
The fan-wielding Woosa class breezes into Black Desert Online PC today as Pearl Abyss pushes out the open world MMORPG’s latest update. The studio first announced Woosa alongside its Black Desert Mobile counterpart, Maegu, last month as it kicked off pre-registrations for the new twin classes. Both classes were also the centerpiece of last week’s Calpheon Ball 2022. As of today, both Woosa and Maegu are live on their respective platforms.
The Woosa, a.k.a. the Enlightened Butterfly, is BDO’s 25th class and features a more relaxed playstyle compared to other classes as Pearl Abyss revealed in the official patch notes. “Our new class Woosa, hailing from the Land of the Morning Light, wields a fan imbued with Do arts,” wrote the studio. “Her play style isn’t aggressive with complicated controls, but is rather relaxed, so we hope that new Adventurers will be able to adjust without too much difficulty.”
“Of course, this leisurely play style does not affect how her skills are used and expressed within the game. Her skills were meticulously designed to bring about an immersive dynamic of rolling clouds, rain, lightning, and powerful winds- all summoned by Woosa herself,” the studio added.
To celebrate the Woosa’s debut, the developers are running several boosting events including a Hot Time event and rewards for reaching level 60 with the new class. These rewards include Marni’s Pocket Watch and a Tuvala Pendant which will come in handy when the Woosa Awakening eventually comes out.
Alongside the addition of a new class, Black Desert Online PC also opened up the winter seasonal servers for those who want to quickly get an alt off to a running start. The new seasonal servers feature boosted XP gains, a new season pass, and the chance to obtain Tuvala gear.
