Black Desert Online Reopens Test Server For Another Round Of Arena Of Solare Testing
Black Desert Online has reopened its public test server, a.k.a. The Global Lab, to once again test its new Arena of Solare PvP content. The Global Lab will be open until May 1st with arena battles happening at specific hours throughout the weekend test.
The Arena of Solare offers a way for new players to ease into Ranked PvP content without worrying about having the right gear. Player and gear stats are normalized to make matches more skill-based rather than a contest of who has better gear. It will also feature its own ranking system, called Path of Ascension, and will have Honor and Glory-based rewards added in the future.
“We understand some of our Adventurers may be disappointed at not being able to fully make use of their character’s gear, but we believe that it is more important to lower the barrier of entry to allow more Adventurers a chance to enjoy the content. Also, all buffs that are not from character skills such as meals and draughts will be removed in the Arena of Solare. (However, the removed buffs will return when you leave the Arena of Solare.)”
Participants during this weekends playtest will be given a level 60 characters to use and will receive free enhancement items once they’ve completed three matches and submitted their feedback.
