Bless RU To Close For "Revision" On May 25th

It's no secret that Bless wasn't exactly finished when it launched. It is said that the initial level cap was intended to be 60, but the game launched with a total of 45 levels of content. Due to the fact that the game was launched in an unfinished state, Russian publisher 101XP has decided to close the game and send it back for "revision." 101XP's announcement states the reason as follows: "Players and the company has pinned high hopes on the game, which, unfortunately, did not materialize in full."

The servers are set to close on May 25th, at which time the game will not be brought back online in Russia until it is complete. The revisions will last for an indefinite amount of time.

To compensate players, 101XP is sending out League of Angels 2 gift codes to anyone that has played since the beginning of Open Beta. I can't imagine that there's a lot of crossover between the two titles, but it is at least something.

Believe it or not, the Russian version of the game was easier for foreigners to set up and play than the Korean version is. As such, we will be sure to prepare a guide to playing the Korean version sometime in the near future, for those of you who would like to keep playing the game despite the shutdown.

Bless' Russian version isn't the only MMORPG that has gone offline indefinitely pending revisions this year. Last month, the North American version of HeroWarz was taken offline while developer A.Storm completed work on the changes that were being made for the region. It is not yet known whether either game will return as planned.
