Conan Exiles Releases Their First Weekly Community Letter

conan exiles volcano scene newsAfter apologizing to Conan Exiles fans last week due to their apparent lack of communication, Funcom promised that they would be giving players weekly updates on the state of the game. The studio followed through on that promise today with their first weekly community letter.

The letter talks about the current state of the PC and Xbox One versions of the game which have both been patched to improve performance, stability, and quality of life. A new version has also been released for the game’s public test server on Steam.

In addition, the letter also discusses what the team has been working on during the past week. These include a new UI, changes to the combat system, new housing items, a new zone, and a new fire-themed dungeon.

Funcom has also teamed up with Coconut Lizard to bring the game to PlayStation 4, the same studio that helped port the game to Xbox One. Coconut Lizard is also working with Funcom to improve the game’s AI and add voice chat to the Xbox One version.

Conan Exiles is scheduled for release in early 2016 so we’ll probably be expecting a lot more of these weekly letters from the developers.
