Dauntless Concludes First Ever Halloween Event, Allows Account Resets With Latest Patch

The Dark Harvest, the first ever seasonal event on Dauntless, has come to a close. The brave slayers of Ramsgate finally bid farewell to the seemingly endless night and welcome the sun once again, along with new weapons and further improvements to Hammer combat.

Patch CB 0.2.8 introduces three new Archonite weapons: Chain Blades, Axes, and Hammers. Players will also travel further and will move in the proper direction when blast dodging using Hammers. The latest also allows players to reset their account progression through the My Account page. “This will NOT remove any account items, such as: Founders Pack benefits, Platinum, Flares, Emotes, Sigils, Fabrics, and Chroma Dust.”

CB 0.2.8 also includes improvements to the game’s performance and bug fixes. “Behemoths may occasionally walk in irregular patterns,” says Phoenix Labs. “Fix this by slaying them.” One of the best bug fixes I’ve seen in a game. You’ll find the full patch notes over at the Dauntless official site.
