Dauntless Makes Premium Hunt Passes And Bounty Tokens Permanent In Today’s New Dawn Update

Phoenix Labs has made a significant and very welcome change to how Dauntless Hunt Passes work as of today’s New Dawn update. Prior to the update’s release, premium Hunt Passes, were only available for a limited time and players had to beat the clock in order to unlock top tier rewards. As of today, purchased hunt passes are now permanent and can be completed at the player’s own pace and can be switched for a different battle pass at any time.

Battle Passes aren’t the only thing that have had their expiration removed. Bounty Tokens earned during each season will now carry over to future seasons instead of resetting to zero at the start of every season. A Bounty Token can also now be used to upgrade a bounty from bronze status to silver or from silver to gold.

The New Dawn update also introduces a new Hunt Pass – Lawless Skies. The new pirate-themed battle pass features a new full armor set, two new weapon transmogs, and more.
