Destiny 2 Celebrates Valentine’s With New Crimson Days Event

Destiny 2 is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a week-long event called Crimson Days where you and a partner can put your skills, and your friendship to the test. If you’re having trouble looking for a partner, a dilemma that most of us have probably gone through every February, Bungie will gladly play matchmaker for you.

“Crimson Days begins in Destiny 2 on Tuesday, February 13. At the heart of the weeklong event is a 2v2 Crucible playlist intended to get your blood pumping as you and a friend test your bonds to the breaking point. This celebration of teamwork will last one week!

The combat scenario is 2v2 Clash with a round-based twist. We will also be debuting The Burnout, a new take on The Burning Shrine set in a future timeline where the Vex have succeeded in altering our reality.”

Players will receive both Illuminated and Crimson Engrams whichever mode they choose to play. Although, Bungie says that the best way to earn rewards is by competing in the Crimson Days Crucible playlist.

Seasonal rewards are also up for grabs for players who complete various milestones during the event such as finishing five Crimson Day matches and completing either the Raid Lair or the Leviathan Raid. Seasonal rewards include the Undeterred Exotic Sparrow and a dance emote that Beyoncé will be proud of.
