Are you ready to witness the virtual battle of the century? Destiny 2's Guardian Games is coming back and it'll soon be time to prove your class supremacy once again. Get ready to experience the exhilarating rush of victory or the crushing agony of defeat as the PvP event kicks off on May 2.

“Every Guardian is proud of their class, as they should be. Hunters are beloved for their jumpy nature and their laid-back attitude. Warlocks can't stop eating grenades, reading books, and sharing wisdom. And have you ever been hugged by a Titan? Because those big arms aren’t just good for building defenses and punching.

No matter how much we love them all, there can only be one winning class. And during the Guardian Games, you have to work together to achieve that goal.”

As with previous iterations of the event, players must collect medallions and deposit them to support their class for the ultimate victory. These medallions can be earned through a variety of activities, including the event-specific playlists for PvE and PvP, along with the newly added class-specific version of the Supremacy PvP mode.

Players also have the opportunity to snag two new weapons, The Title Void SMG and Taraxippos Strand scout rifle. In addition, everyone will receive an event card with additional challenges to complete for even more rewards such as an emote, a title, and new triumphs.

If that's not enough to get your pulse racing, Destiny 2's weekly newsletter has even more news to keep you on your toes. Stay tuned for maps up voting for Trials of Osiris and tweaks to some Strand abilities arriving in Season 21. Speaking of Strand abilities, the newsletter also clears up any confusion regarding a pair of certain mods and their interaction with the Strand Grapple punch.

Get ready to unleash your inner warrior and claim victory for your class. Let the Guardian Games begin!
