Bungie adds some extra firepower in Destiny 2’s ongoing Season of Defiance with a mid-season update that will have you jumping for joy - or ducking for cover.

PvP weapons just got a major boost, with rifles getting some extra love in the form of increased damage. Auto rifles now do 25% more damage; pulse rifles, sidearms, and hand cannons received a 20% damage buff; while scout rifles got a 10% bump. The Häkke Heavy Burst and Hunter's Trace rounds have also been tweaked to make them significantly more deadlier, with the former getting a whopping 75% boost to their damage.

Bungie has also tweaked the difficulty of Heist Battlegrounds in Nightfall and Vanguard playlists and updated the weekly PvP Rotator to now include Zone Control, Rift, and Clash variants.
