Destiny 2 Confirms Season Of The Wish Launch Date In A New Teaser Trailer

Destiny 2’s next season is on the horizon with an expected launch date of November 28th. That date has now been confirmed with a new teaser trailer for Season of the Wish and an accompanying press release. The new season will take players back to the Dreaming City where they’ll unlock new secrets, weapons, and gear.

Bungie had been teasing Season of the Wish over the past couple of weeks with an in-game puzzle created by The Witch Queen Savathûn. The puzzle has now been solved, revealing an Ahamkara Wish Dragon egg, hence the season’s title. It’s also supposed to be the final season before the launch of The Final Shape expansion, which was recently delayed to June following the mass layoffs at the Sony-owned studio.

The Final Shape’s landing page, however, still shows a February 27th launch date but sources say that Bungie is planning to officially announce the delay soon enough. In any case, we’re expecting Season of the Wish to be significantly longer than previous seasons.
