Dual Universe Adds A Tactical Map And Reworks Asteroid Spawns In This Week’s Patch
Novaquark continues to make improvements and add new content to Dual Universe following its official launch in September. The space sandbox MMORPG’s second post launch update is set to go live on December 13th and will introduce new features to make space exploration just a little bit easier for players.
The highlight of the update is the new tactical map that will allow players to safely and accurately navigate their way through the cosmos. “Are you looking for a fight or trying to avoid one? Whatever your aims, we’re adding a new tool for you to navigate with more precision and awareness of the space around you,” said Novaquark. “With integration into the piloting and gunner HUD, the Tactical Map allows you a clearer view of your surroundings and a better ability to interact with the map.”
Another key feature of the update is a rework of how asteroids spawn in the game. With the update’s release asteroids will randomly spawn and despawn across the game world to offer players a greater chance to locate and salvage abandoned wrecks. The new tactical map should also prove to be invaluable when going out on salvaging runs.
