Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed Celebrates 5 Million Downloads

It's been around five weeks since Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed's worldwide launch and I'm sure that fans of the long-running hack-'n-slash series are wondering how it's doing. As it just so happens, the answer is "quite well." The mobile adaptation of Koei Tecmo's game of beating up thousands of enemy troops has been downloaded more than 5 million times, averaging approximately 1 million downloads per week. This isn't an indication of how much money it is making, but it does prove that the interest in a mobile Dynasty Warriors game is there.

Unfortunately, while Nexon is currently doing a victory lap in celebration of reaching the 5 million download milestone, it does not seem that there are any in-game events running in celebration of the milestone.
