Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed Has Been Downloaded Two Million Times, One Million On Day One Alone

When Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed was first announced, I was skeptical about how well the series' hack-and-slash combat system would work on mobile devices. When I played the game during the Limited Beta, I was immediately less skeptical. It would work just like games like Heroes of Incredible Tales, or HIT, except with less of a focus on killing a few enemies at a time and more of a focus on killing dozens of enemies at a time. It turned out to be a fairly entertaining game, even if not entirely original.

The game officially launched on Android and iOS last Thursday and it seems that putting the series on mobile was a decent idea after all, as Nexon announced today that the game was downloaded a staggering one million times on launch day and another one million times since for a total of two million downloads since launch.

Nexon celebrated by releasing the following image.

Nexon is not planning any events to go along with the celebration, but, should you want to join the two million people that have downloaded the game thus far, you can get it from either the App Store or Google Play.
