Elder Scrolls fans have a new game to look forward to that’s unfortunately not Elder Scrolls 6. Bethesda Softworks quietly soft-launched a new mobile strategy title called Elder Scrolls: Castles earlier this week that allows players to immerse themselves in Tamriel’s politics while on the go.

“The Elder Scrolls: Castles [is] a new mobile game that puts you in control of your very own castle and dynasty. Oversee your subjects as the years come and go, families grow, and new rulers take the throne. […] You’ll build your own dynasty where every day in our world is a year in the game’s world. Citizens are born, they die, rulers change, and can be betrayed.”

The game is currently exclusively available to players in the Philippines but has opened pre-registrations for its global release. Like in Fallout Shelter, you’ll be tasked with managing and growing a base, in this case, it’s a medieval keep inhabited by loyal subjects who’ll fight in your name and can be given various orders and placed in positions of power.

Bethesda has yet to announce a global release date for Elder Scrolls: Castles, and it looks like its still testing the waters with a regional rollout. If you’re an avid fan of the series, it might be worth checking out if you can find a way to bypass the regional restrictions. However, if you’re looking for a more action-packed mobile experience, Elder Scrolls: Blades might be a better choice to scratch that itch.
