The Elder Scrolls Online’s Tale Of Tribute Card Game Is Proving To Be Very Popular

The Tales of Tribute mini-game has proven to be a hit with Elder Scrolls Online players as shown in ZeniMax Online’s new infographic. According to the studio, over 838,000 players tried their hand at the new collectible card game from High Isle’s launch on June 6th to July 1st.

If you’ve played with the Khajiit Patron Rajhin or have gone up against a player who has, you probably know how annoying the Bewilderment card is. It’s basically a useless card that gets thrown into your opponent’s draw pile when the Patron skill is used. When drawn, the card is instantly played with no effect whatsoever. Once it’s in your Played pile, however, you can discard it to get a Writ of Coin card that instantly grants you 2 Gold. Now, imagine being on the receiving end of 42 Bewilderment cards in a single match, the most times it’s been played according to Zenimax’ infographic.

“Phew! That’s a lot of cards played and favors gained in just one month’s action,” says Zenimax. “Remarkably, both the power and coin earned stats were achieved without the use of Patron abilities. Pity the poor soul who had to suffer all those Bewilderments!”

Meanwhile, we’re still waiting on the barrage of feature previews that’s coming ahead of the release of the Lost Depths DLC and the controversial Update 35 on August 22nd.
