Elyon Pre-Download And Early Character Creation Has Been Delayed

Kakao Games and Krafton have pushed back the planned Elyon pre-download and early character creation phase after discovering a backend issue during their final quality testing. The pre-download and character creation was originally scheduled for October 11^th and October 13^th but has now been delayed indefinitely.

“Our initial October 11^th and October 13^th pre-download and character creation schedule have hit a bit of a snag,” tweeted the devs. “To be clear, this is not a game issue, but rather a backend platform issue we identified during some final QA.”

“We’ve been working over the weekend to resolve this quickly and submit the fixed build to Steam for final approval. Our expectation is roughly a 48-hour delay. Yes, this could change, but that’s what we are aiming for,” they added.

The team, however, assures fans that the 72-hour head start and the official launch are still on track for October 17^th and October 20^th, respectively.
