Elyon Previews Classes And Gameplay Systems, CBT2 Client Now Available For Pre-Download

Kakao Games has released a series of new Elyon spotlight trailers that offers a preview of the much-awaited MMORPG’s gameplay systems and mechanics, the latest of which gives fans a look at the playable classes in the upcoming game.

In the new video, the team gives a quick introduction of the six classes that will be available at launch, the Slayer, Warlord, Elementalist, Mystic, Assassin, and Gunner, along with a brief rundown of each class’ special skills and playstyles.

“Each [class] has a unique playstyle and a bunch of ways to be played. Every class in Elyon has a Tab skill that gives a class its identity,” says the devs.

The Slayer’s Tab ability “Rampage,” for example, can be activated when low on health, giving him partial immunity to crowd control skills and increased attack speed while significantly reducing damage taken for the duration of the skill. The Slayer can deal massive melee damage to enemies using his greatsword in combination with dark magic although some of his skills consumes HP upon use. Fortunately, this can set the stage for casting Ramage with the right timing.

Meanwhile, the game client is now available for pre-downloading on Steam in preparation for the start of the second closed beta test tomorrow. CBT2 kicks off on August 18 at 7am PDT with three new PvP Arenas.
