EVE: Valkyrie Launches On PlayStation VR On October 13th
CCP Games announced today that, when Sony's more affordable PlayStation VR headset launches on October 13th, EVE: Valkyrie will be one of its launch titles. PlayStation 4 users will be able to jump into the world of New Eden and take to the stars for some VR dogfighting. The PlayStation VR version of the game will include "all updates to the game released since its launch on PC in March, including the explosive Carrier Assault mode."
The Joint Strike update that went live in the Oculus version of the game today officially made the game cross-platform, allowing existing Oculus users and PlayStation VR users alike to play together. The HTC Vive version launching later this year should also benefit from the introduction of cross-platform play.
EVE: Valkyrie's PlayStation VR version can already be pre-ordered "in some territories." Granted you're in one of said territories, you can pre-order the game on the PlayStation Store.
