Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker Expansion Launches November 23, 2021

During today's digital Fan Festival, Final Fantasy XIV's biennial celebration of the game, Square Enix announced that the game's upcoming expansion, Endwalker, will launch on November 23, 2021. Also revealed today was the second new playable class coming with the expansion: the scythe wielding melee DPS 'Reaper'. The other new class, the Sage, was revealed on February 5th.

  • New Job: Reaper
  • New Playable Race: Male Viera

  • Travel to Expansive New Areas: Labyrinthos and Mare Lamentorum
  • New Tribes to Encounter: Loporrits
  • New Threats to Overcome: The Magus Sisters
  • New Alliance Raid Series: “Myths of the Realm”
  • A New Data Center: Oceania

The game is available for pre-order now for $39.99 (for the base version) and those who pre-order will be able to access the game on November 19th, 4 days before the official launch.

FINAL FANTASY XIV: ENDWALKER Full Trailer

While I'm not particularly interested in the 2 new classes or the male Viera, I'm looking forward to the continuation of the game's long running story and new raid content. As with previous expansions though, new raid content won't be available at launch, but will be added to the game in the future.
