Fish, Cook, And Hunt With The Sea Of Thieves Hunter’s Call Anniversary Update

How else are they going to feed a ship-full of hungry buccaneers? Sea of Thieves players can look forward to these features when the anniversary update, The Hunter’s Call, comes out at the end of the month.

“Pirate bard Merrick, a true survivor of the Sea of Thieves, has decided to build on his experiences by founding a new Trading Company known as The Hunter’s Call. This ragtag band boasts experts in hunting, fishing and cooking and would like all pirates to master the same skills. Handsome rewards await those who can catch the rarest creatures and cook the finest dishes!”

When the update rolls out, players will be able to go fishing and sell the day’s catch at the Hunter’s Call. Or, they can cook the fish themselves using the new Cooking System. Cooking fish, meat, or fruit increases the effectiveness of their healing. Just be careful not to undercook or burn them.

Harpoon guns will also be added to a ship’s arsenal with the update. Ship’s will now come with two bow-mounted harpoon guns that can be used to pull up debris, tether to an enemy ship, or to quickly turn your ship Pirates of the Caribbean style.
