Genji, Hanzo, And Reaper Buffed On The Overwatch PTR

Blizzard's latest Overwatch PTR patch has provided a bit of a buff to Hanzo, Reaper, and Genji; while nerfing Reinhardt and Soldier 76. If you want to see for yourself you can download the PTR client or read up on the patch notes.

So, what happened?

Genji will no longer have an attack cooldown when he parkours up a wall. That means the cyborg ninja will be able to slash away as soon as he's back on his feet. It's considered a quality of life change.

Meanwhile, Hanzo's wall-climb cooldown has also been removed, while his charge speed has been increased 10% and charged arrows will maintain their boost even after climbing a wall—so long as you keep holding the button down.

And, then there's Reaper. From now on, when Reaper enters Wraith Form his ammo will be completely refilled.

Then there are the debuffs. Solider 76's bullet damage has been decreased from 20 to 19. While Reindhardt's Earthshatter effect height has been lowered from 3 meters to 2 meters, meaning some mid-air players will avoid the stun.

Remember, these changes are on the PTR, which doesn't mean they will all translate to the official version of Overwatch. We'll have to wait and see how they play out.
