Heroes and Generals Releases "Walker" Patch

World War II MMOFPS, Heroes and Generals, has released a nearly 7 minute long video that showcases changes for their latest Walker update. The Walker update brought with it the highly anticipated German assault rifle, the Sturmgewehr 44, along with a variety of new guns and attachments. Some guns have been changed to feature a full auto and semi auto mode, with a simple re-selection of the gun on the hotbar to switch modes, making it perfect for long range tapfiring and close range sprays. New scopes have also been added for a variety of weapons including the M84 T Post which features 2x magnification, and several other scopes based on class selection.

In order to unlock new upgrades and ammunition, new Specialist Ribbons have been added that level up based on weapons used in combat. In addition class ribbons have been consolidated with Armor and Tank Destroyer merged into the Armor Assault Ribbon, Semi-Auto and Bolt Action merged into Infantry Assault, and lastly, Sniper and Recon being merged into the Recon Ribbon. Experience is based on performance, but can also be purchased with gold or credits to instantly complete a rank. The cost is dynamic and is based on the amount of points required to level.
