Kakao Games has seen a very significant dip in its revenue for the third quarter of 2022 compared to the same period last year. The South Korean video game company’s Q3 2022 financial report shows a whopping 34.2% drop in revenue year-over-year at 306.9 billion Won (roughly $215.33 million) which is largely attributed to the “stabilization of mobile game services” and the lack of new releases on PC.

On the subject of new releases, Kakao Games has quite a few in the pipeline for next year, including ArcheAge War which will be launching in Korea in Q1 2023, Ares: Rise of Guardians that’s scheduled to come out in Korea in Q2 2023, Odin: Valhalla Rising that’s expected to launch in Q4 2023, and Eversoul, a mobile gacha RPG launching globally early next year.

Kakao’s new multiplayer shooter Dysterra will be launching ahead of the pack following the announcement of an official release date of November 23rd.
