Lawbreakers Developer Bosskey Reveals New Game - An 80s-Infused Battle Royale Game Show

Bosskey Studios, the company behind Lawbreakers, revealed their newest project today - Radical Heights, an 80s-infused cartoony battle royale game set in a game show. Not only did they reveal their new game, but early access is set to begin tomorrow on April 10th. Given how many battle royale games have been announced since Fortnite and Playerunknown's Battlegrounds popularized the genre, it's not too surprising to see Bosskey jump on the same bandwagon. From what I can see in the gameplay trailer (below), Radical Heights looks like a mix of Fortnite and The Culling, borrowing cartoony visuals from Fortnite and the gameshow theme from The Culling.

Unlike Lawbreakers though, Radical Heights will be free to play at launch. At least they're not making the same mistake twice. It blew my mind that Bosskey thought they could be successful with a buy to play model.

Radical Heights aims to differentiate itself from other battle royale games with a persistent cash currency that can be used during rounds but also carries over between them.

“Play matches, collect cash, kill contestants, interact with game show elements and more to buy cosmetics from your personal prize room, or put some of that sweet cash in your bank to help buy a weapon next match quicker than your opponents. The choice is yours.”

With the game launching on Steam tomorrow, expect a first look!
